Hunter-Burns Family Reunion Committee.

Thanks to those of you who have made inquiries/provided feedback. Your input/interest is vital to the success of this event. Please help us spread the word for this year’s Reunion. Forward this email/text to anyone you believe will be interested in this event. We want to make sure the word gets to everyone!! We are soliciting serious volunteers to assist in making this event a success. 
 
The planned location for this year’s Celebration is East-Central Georgia (Norwood.- Thomson -Augusta). 
 
DATES JULY 24 -26, 2026.
 
Reunion Theme/Colors:  Afrocentric/ Kente. Please wear your Afrocentric colors to the alfresco. A prize will be given to individual person donning the best Afrocentric outfit.   

(Dashikis/Kufi hats/Kente cloth, canes ETC) welcome. Jeans welcome as well) Casual is good.

The last reunion - more like a "mini-reunion" was held in suburban Atlanta during the holiday season of 2024. I wasn't able to go as it was short notice, though it was done in honor of our late Tribal History who had passed away over a year earlier at that point.

I'm looking forward to being in Augusta, Georgia or in that area as that area as the church where Morehouse College was founded is located there. Perhaps the other Morehouse Men in the family would be interested in that as well.
